2004 brought us another successful “Homes for the Holidays” home tour.  Five local residents opened their unique homes for everyone to enjoy.  The homes each had a very special touch.  One of the homes was decorated with a touch of Christmas in every room; there was a log cabin home and a “Heavenly Retreat” that hosts their friends, family and missionaries. 

This tour started at St. Teresa’s where 12 vendors had displays set up for easy Christmas shopping all in one spot.  Tickets were also available for a basket auction.  The baskets had an estimated value of $35-$100 each.  With the purchase of a ticket for the tour you were entered into the grand prize drawing which included two prizes valued around $100 each.  A soup and hot dog lunch was available for purchase with all the proceeds going to the chamber.

The approximate $2000 raised will go to the Union City Chamber of Commerce general operating fund.
