Friday, May 18th at 10 am. Meet at the old UC Dinor. Our day will be spent
on the dinor, before we move on to any other projects. Lunch at 1 pm at the
Presbyterian Church.
Saturday, May 19th at 10 am. Meet at the parking lot of the UC First United
Methodist Church. Volunteers will work under street ambassadors, that handle
a block of downtown.
Sunday, May 20th at 1 pm. Meet at the parking lot of UC First United
Methodist Church. Volunteers will work with their same street ambassadors
from the day before to finish their block of downtown.
Volunteers will paint, while others will plant, and put in benches.
Volunteers needed to landscape as well!
Then on Sunday night. The plan following "Paint The Town" right now is to
have a celebration Saturday night with a Family Friendly movie - shown
outside (place to be determined - but will probably be downtown somewhere).
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, etc. This will be a free movie. We are
also planning for local food vendors and possibly have other booths for
local businesses available for the evening. Come early to get a good seat,
enjoy neighbors (even ones you haven't met yet), good food and a fun movie!
