Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department Benefit Spaghetti Dinner

   
  The Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner on Tuesday September 25, 2007 to benefit Alan James VanDresar.

Alan was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a cancer that arises in immature nerve cells and affects mostly infants and children. Alan is only 7 months old. He is in Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh with his parents Kelly Herring and Mark VanDresar. He has started chemotherapy.

Dinner will be served from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.  The cost is $ 6.00 for adults and $ 3.50 for children 12 and under. There will also be a bake sale and a 50/50 drawing.

The family has experienced many obstacles and a small donation would help, There is donation cans around the area. Chris Sterling is the grandparent of Alan and is a member of the Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department serving as 2nd assistant chief. Your support is greatly appreciated.
